The ever-so-beloved top-down shooter has returned, and better than ever, as Bug Busterz X-Treme Remastered DX+ Edition.

In this revamped and remastered edition of the cult classic, you've once again taken it upon yourself, as the friendly neighbourhood centipede, to exterminate everything what creeps and crawls. Armed with nothing but yourself oncemore, you'll fling your own segments at your enemies, only to frantically try to retrieve your lost limbs afterwards.

Forget everything you thought you knew about bustin',  because Bug Busterz X-Treme Remastered DX+ Edition has reimagined the way you'll approach getting rid of bugs, to deliver you an all new experience.

In this game your ammo count doubles as your health bar.  Every time you shoot , you lose a little bit of health. Likewise, if you get hit too much, you won't be able to shoot. But lucky you! You can go recollect any lost segments! That way you'll be able to bust even more bugs!

This game was originally made for the 109th Mini Jam, a bi-weekly, 72-hour game jam.  Seeing as this was our first game jam (and first proper game for that matter),  we weren't able to make everything we had planned for this game, and it originally released in -quite- an unfinished state. Bugs were running rampant in our code! 

Now we're releasing Bug Busterz X-Treme Remastered DX+ Edition,  Bug busterz in the way its creators had always imagined it.  With the polish that was lacking applied, a soundtrack reimagined for the modern era, and some computer bugs busted along the way,  

there's better no time to start bustin' than right now.

How to play:

Shoot the spiders crawling around. Every once in a while, an anthill will appear, with extra fast ants scurrying out of them. Walk over one to close it. Any segments lying around can be picked up by touching 'em. 

Click the left mouse button to set a destination for the centipede

Hold the left mouse button to have him follow the cursor

Click the right mouse button to shoot
